Payne Ratliff: National Qualifier

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Senior Payne Ratliff will have one more race as an Otterbein Cardinal.

On Sunday, the official selections were announced for the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships this coming weekend. Ratliff was one of the at-large selections as an individual, coming off a fourth place showing at the Great Lakes Regional Championship on Saturday.

Ratliff has orchestrated an outstanding senior season, winning the OAC Athlete of the Week award twice. With a race of 25:21.1 at the conference meet, he was the OAC Individual Champion and was a driving force for the men's cross country team's OAC Championship.

The senior will run on Saturday, November 22 at the Roger Milliken Center in Spartanburg, S.C. for a chance at becoming an All-American. The men's race will start at 10 a.m.
