Knell earns All-Ohio honors, Smith sets personal-best to lead Women's Indoor Track and Field at All-Ohio Championships

WESTERVILLE — Sophomore Kierstin Knell earned All-Ohio honors with a runner-up finish in the 5000 meters, and freshman Anastasia Smith set a new personal best in the shot put to lead the Otterbein women's indoor track and field team as it hosted the All-Ohio Championships on Saturday.

The Basics
  • Venue: Clements Recreation Center - Westerville, Ohio
  • Otterbein finished 13th out of 15 teams with 17 points. Mount Union claimed the team title with 108.5 points. Ohio Wesleyan was second with 89 points, and Case Western Reserve was third with 77 points.
  • The top three finishers in each event earned All-Ohio honors.

Otterbein's Top Performers - Running Events
  • 5000m - Knell earned All-Ohio honors, finishing second with a time of 19:33.15. 
  • 1 Mile - Senior Alyssa Mattis ran a 5:30.69 to take 10th. 
Otterbein's Top Performers - Field Events 
  • Shot Put - Smith threw a new personal-best distance with a mark of 12.15m to take fifth place.  
  • Triple Jump - Junior Charlie Dolliver jumped a mark of 10.35m to take fifth. 
  • Weight Throw - Senior Ravyn Goodson took eighth with a mark of 13.76m. 
Notables

All-Time Otterbein Rankings: 

  • Dolliver ranks fifth all-time in the triple jump with a mark of 10.51m, topping her previous best of 10.44m set in 2024. She is also second all-time in the pentathlon (2,665 points, 2025).
  • Goodson ranks second in weight throw (14.44m, 2024).
  • Sophomore Amelia Dailey is tied for fourth in weight throw (13.69m), while freshman Kendra Detillion is tied for ninth (12.46m), both set this season.
  • Smith now sits in ninth for shot put (12.15m, 2025). 

OAC Standings:

  • Dolliver holds first in the pentathlon (2,665 points) and is fourth in the triple jump (10.51m).
  • Mattis holds sixth in the mile (5:14.42).
  • Junior Rachel Bollo is sixth in the 500m (1:23.18), followed by freshman Mallory Bostick in eighth (1:24.48).
  • The 4x200m relay team with Bostick, freshman Gabby Park, junior Kayla Bruce and Bollo are placed sixth (1:58.46). 
  • Smith (11.98m) and freshman Tori McGowan (11.81m) rank eighth and ninth, respectively, in the shot put.
