Quote
- Freshman Anastasia Smith - "I came excited but scared because of the expectations I set for myself. I was a bit nervous coming into the third throw. I knew I needed something good, and I got that 12.30-meter mark and felt so much better. My coach was hyped and my team was hyped for me, and it just made all the training and work in the weight room worth it! Finishing sixth at my first conference meet in a competitive field really made me even more excited to get after it in the outdoor season."
