The NWCA Scholar All-American honor recognizes outstanding student-athletes who have demonstrated excellence both on the mat and in the classroom. To achieve Scholar All-American status, a student-athlete must place in the top eight in his regional tournament and/or wrestle at least 15 matches and have a win percentage greater than 66% while also maintaining an average GPA of at least 3.2 over the last two semesters or quarters and/or have a cumulative GPA of 3.2 or greater.
"The NWCA is proud to honor these outstanding individuals who demonstrate excellence on the mat and in the classroom as well," said NWCA Executive Director Mike Moyer.
Callahan, a business analytics major, finished as the runner-up at 174 pounds at the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships this season. That accomplishment earned him his first career berth in the NCAA Division III Championships, where he posted a 1-2 record against three nationally ranked opponents.
An All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team selection this season, Callahan finished the year with a 17-5 record, including a perfect 6-0 mark in OAC duals.
A three-time Academic All-OAC honoree, Callahan earned All-Region and Second Team All-OAC status as a junior and boasts a 68-26 career record.
Dolan, a nursing major, had a standout freshman season for the Cardinals in 2024-25. Competing at 157 pounds, he closed the year with a 22-12 overall record, including a 4-1 mark in OAC duals. He led the team in wins and had a team-best nine pins. He was also recognized with the Manuel Gorriaran Award for recording the most pins in the least amount of time at the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships.
