Luke Dolan earned the Manuel Gorriaran Most Falls Award to highlight a successful showing for the Otterbein men's wrestling team at the NCAA Division III Region 4 Championships hosted by Averett University on Friday and Saturday. The Cardinals had four placers and placed ninth of 20 teams overall, and Callahan's second-place finish qualified him for the NCAA Division III Championships scheduled for March 14-15 in Providence, R.I.

- 174: Callahan posted a 3-1 record and scored 18 team points in his runner-up finish. He opened by pinning Washington & Jefferson's John Starusko in just 21 seconds and then defeated Shenandoah's Dylan Weaver by 8-0 major decision in the quarterfinals. He defeated Baldwin Wallace's Carter Lloyd by 9-6 sudden victory in the semifinals before falling to Ohio Northern's Adam Myers by a narrow 3-0 decision in the championship match.
- 157: Dolan posted a 4-3 record and scored 15.5 points in a sixth-place finish. He earned the Manuel Gorriaran Most Falls Award by recording three victories by fall in a total time of 5:27. He opened with a pin of Southern Virginia's Corbin Mecham in 1:02 in the preliminary round before falling via 14-1 major decision to Ferrum's Joseph Olalde. He then recorded three straight victories in the consolation portion of the bracket beginning with a pin of Randolph's Jordan Nutter in 1:40. He then pinned Heidelberg's Anthony Grecol in 2:45 and defeated Wilmington's Thane McCoy by 17-7 major decision. In the consolation semifinals, he fell by 10-4 decision to Roanoke's Andrew McDougal before ending his run with a defeat to Washington & Lee's Colin Bridges by pin in the fifth-place match.
- 165: Junior Logan Cormell posted a 3-2 record and scored 10.5 team points in a seventh-place finish. He was pinned by Baldwin Wallace's Andrew Supers in the opening round before pinning Randolph's Theodore Piluso in 1:25 to begin his run through the consolation portion of the bracket. He followed that with a 20-2 tech fall victory over Heidelberg's Travis Richardson. After being pinned by St. Vincent's Chase Brandebura, he pinned Greensboro's Ethan Kring in 2:19 in the seventh-place match.
- 184: Junior Gary Steele posted a 3-2 record and scored 8 team points in a seventh-place finish. He opened with a 17-1 tech fall loss to St. Vincent's Ryan Weinzen. He then got a 4-2 decision win over Greensboro's Luke Gregory to open his consolation rounds and followed that with a 10-2 major decision win over Southern Virginia's Ikia Garcia. After being pinned by Ohio Northern's Ajay Locke, he won the seventh-place match over Averett's Nolan Gerwitz by injury default.
- Seniors Billy Reed-Bodey (3 team points at 285 pounds) and Eric Saddler (2.5 team points at 133 pounds) and freshmen Trent VandenEynden (2.5 team points at 149 pounds) and Muhammad Jallaq (2.5 team points at 197 pounds) also contributed to the team's point total.
