Balanced Attack Lifts Otterbein Past Baldwin Wallace, 70-58

BEREA, OH. - Otterbein used a balanced offensive effort and strong work on the glass to secure a 70-58 win over Baldwin Wallace on Wednesday night.

Julian Heckman led the Cardinals with a game-high 19 points, while adding four assists, four rebounds, and two steals. Heckman also paced Otterbein in efficiency, helping control the tempo throughout the contest.

Junior Chase Garito provided a strong all-around performance, finishing with 11 points, three assists, and a block. Dominic Theado was dominant inside, posting a double-double with 10 points and a game-high 11 rebounds, including seven offensive boards that fueled second-chance opportunities. Troy Scowden also reached double figures, contributing 10 points and six rebounds.

Otterbein won the rebounding battle behind Theado and Jarius Jones, who added nine rebounds, while Jones also chipped in seven points. The Cardinals shared the ball effectively, with Heckman and Garito leading the way as Otterbein consistently found quality looks.
