Neal named OAC Athlete of the Week

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Senior goalkeeper Isabella Neal has been named the OAC Defensive Player of the Week in women's soccer, as announced on Monday afternoon. Neal posted a pair of clean sheets as the Cardinals went 2-0 in OAC action last week, earning the first Athlete of the Week accolade of her career.

Neal collected five saves in Wednesday's 1-0 road win at Heidelberg. She followed up Wednesday's outing by notching six saves in a 1-0 victory on Saturday over Ohio Northern. The loss was the first for the Polar Bears in conference play. Through 315 minutes of action in conference matches, the senior has not conceded a goal.

Neal and the Otterbein women's soccer team will be back in action on Wednesday when they host Wilmington College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
