WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Three members of the Otterbein University women's basketball team were decorated with All-OAC accolades, as announced on Wednesday morning. Sophomores Mattie Walburn and Kiara Hudgins were joined by freshman Cameron Sparks on the All-OAC list after the Cardinals turned in an outstanding 20-5, 14-2 record in the regular season.

Walburn collects First Team All-OAC honors following a tremendous year, leading the team in scoring, averaging 11.9 points per game to rank seventh in the league. In conference-only play, the sophomore sparkled with 13.2 PPG and has shot a stout 47.1 percent from the floor. Walburn shoots 86 percent from the foul line and brings down just over three rebounds per game. 

Hudgins was named to the Second Team All-OAC list, performing consistently all season long on both ends of the floor for the Cardinals. Hudgins contributed 8.4 points per game and dished out 3.4 assists per game. The 3.4 assists per game sits her second in the OAC, while she has also accounted for a team-leading 41 steals.

Joining Hudgins on the Second Team is Sparks, who was named the OAC Freshman of the Year. For the second year in a row, the OAC Freshman of the Year belongs to Otterbein after Hudgins earned the honor in 2025, proving the bright future for the program. Sparks finished the regular season scoring 9.6 points per game and hauling in 8.7 rebounds per game. In OAC  games, Sparks shot just under 50 percent from the floor and 83 percent from the foul line.

Otterbein, who is receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com poll, will host Mount Union tomorrow evening in the OAC Semifinals. Tip off against the Purple Raiders is scheduled for 8 p.m.
