KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Julian Heckman is headed to Fort Wayne. 

On Monday, Heckman was one of 20 athletes selected to the NABC Division III College All-Star Game rosters. The game will take place this Saturday, March 21 at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in Fort Wayne at 2:30 p.m.

The Division III All-Star Game, held in conjunction with the 2026 NCAA Division III Men's Basketball quarterfinals and semifinals, features the top senior talent across Division III. Heckman becomes the first Cardinal to play in the exhibition game since Jack Clement (2024). Former Trinity (TX) coach Pat Cunningham and former Southwestern (TX) coach and current Schreiner athletic director Bill Raleigh will serve as coaches for the two Division III All-Star teams.

The lone representative from the Ohio Athletic Conference, Heckman has enjoyed a storied career with many accolades, including receiving All-OAC honors three times. Earlier today, he was named to the D3hoops.com All-Region Third Team for his efforts in Otterbein's 23-6 season, where they received a NCAA Tournament bid.
