Otterbein sweeps OAC Golfer of the Week awards

WESTERVILLE – After a dominant showing at the Muskingum Invitational, Otterbein golf has swept the OAC Golfer of the Week awards, as announced on Tuesday. Alexa Luebbe won the women's accolade, while Colin Bibler was chosen as the men's honoree.

Luebbe claimed medalist honors on Monday, winning the tournament with a two-day score of 82-77 – 159. The 77 in Monday's round was her season-best score. Luebbe's win helped the Cardinals win the tournament with a team score of 680.

Bibler was the runner-up at the Muskingum Invitational, carding rounds of 72-73 – 145. He led Otterbein to the win at the tournament, erasing a deficit after round one to finish with a 595 for the event.

The Otterbein men's and women's golf teams will host the Easter Leftovers Tournament on Monday at the NorthStar Golf Club in Sunbury.
