MULLICA HILLS, N.J. – The Otterbein women's cross country team powered to victory at the Inter-Regional Border Battle on Saturday morning, hosted by Rowan University at its Technology Park.
The Cardinal women's team, ranked third in the latest regional poll and 24th nationally, cruised past the 26-team field with a final tally of 98 points, besting second-place Johns Hopkins by 10 points. Otterbein also enjoyed an upset of third-place Dickinson, which is currently ranked eighth in the country.
Otterbein earned the win thanks to its top-five finishers placing inside the top-35 runners in a highly-competitive field which saw 239 runners cross the finish line.
