Esports wins twice in short week

With a short week due to Fall Break, the Otterbein Esports team saw the Smash and Rainbow Six Siege teams in action.

Smash took on Governors State University on Wednesday. The Cardinals fought hard with freshman Ross Gerkens (Ssorian) taking nine stocks in the match, but ultimately they fell short losing 2-0.

The Rainbow Six Siege team started off their week in week three of the ECAC and won against Penn State-Behrend, 2-1. In a game that was featured as the ECAC game of the week. Sophomore Michael Huffman (Mike.OTTER") was lights out with a K/D of 37/14. Freshman Ben Ronk (Neb) was also a standout, finishing with a K/D of 27/26.

Rainbow 6 went on to face Lindenwood in their second match of the week and won another game three in overtime. This is the sixth game in a row that went to a game three tiebreaker, seeing Otterbein come away victorious each time.
