Rainbow 6 has another strong week for Otterbein esports

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein University Rainbow 6 team continues to excel in the final weeks of the fall esports season.

Rainbow 6 started off the week in ECAC Division 1 winning via forfeit to Oklahoma Christian University. On Thursday, the team had their last week of the regular season, winning 2-0 over UW-Platteville. The Cardinals won with map wins of 7-5, 7-5. Sophomore captain Michael Huffman led the way in game 1 with a 18/8 K/D. Freshman Ben Ronk led the way in game 2 for the Cardinals with a 14/6 K/D.

"Ben continues to show significant improvement and is really coming into his own as we head into the postseason," added head coach, Henry Woofter.

Rainbow 6 takes on Fisher who is ranked No. 3 in the country on Monday for their last week of the regular season in ECAC. They will follow that up with their first round of the playoffs for Midwest R6 on Thursday with the opponent to be announced.
