WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – The Otterbein women's golf team opened play at the OAC Fall Preview on Saturday, sitting in second place after the opening round with a team total of 329 at River Greens Golf Course. Heidelberg's A squad leads the field at 319 heading into Sunday's final 18 holes.

Sophomores Morgan Wamer and Alayna Meyer led the Cardinals with matching rounds of 81 (+9), tying for third overall. Senior Alexa Luebbe is close behind in seventh with an 83 (+11), followed by sophomore Mia Chanthasene at 84 (+12) and junior Aimee Hayes at 85 (+13) to round out the team scoring.

Competing as individuals, freshman Mia Lewis sits in 13th with an 87 (+15), while classmates Hailey McKenzie and Lauren Griffith carded rounds of 94 (+22) and 127 (+55), respectively.

The Cardinals will return to River Greens on Sunday morning to close out the 36-hole event.
