Ratliff collects third Athlete of the Week award

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Senior Payne Ratliff has been named the OAC Men's Cross Country Athlete of the Week. This comes off another stellar performance by Ratliff and earns him his third weekly accolade of the season.

At the Live in Lou Classic, Ratliff delivered a season-best time of 24:50.2 – 21 seconds quicker than his previous season-best. He placed third out of over 400 runners and was key to the men's team winning their race, composed of 41 teams. Entering last week, the men's program was ranked third in the Great Lakes Region and received votes in the USTFCCCA National Poll.

Ratliff and the cross country teams will gear up for the Augustana Interregional Invitational on Oct. 18, their final tune-up before OAC Championships.
