HEBRON, Ky. – The Otterbein men's golf team capped off a strong fall campaign in style, taking first place at the Polar Bear Classic hosted by Ohio Northern at Traditions Golf Club.
The Cardinals posted a team score of 299 (+11) to top the 12-team field, followed closely by Otterbein's 'B' squad in second with 318 (+30). Host Ohio Northern's main lineup placed third at 321 (+33).
Senior Ian Morgan led the way individually, earning medalist honors with a 1-under par 71. Classmate Carter Woodward followed in second place at 75 (+3), and senior Colin Bibler secured third after carding a 76 (+4).
Senior Jake Morgan and sophomore Noah Huard (B team) tied for fourth with 77s (+5), while junior Nick McMullen (B team) and junior Clay Bruning shared seventh at 78 (+6).
Rounding out the Cardinal efforts were freshman Parker Steffani (B) with an 81 (+9), senior Cam Uhl (B) with an 82 (+10), freshman Nate McMullen with an 83 (+11), and sophomore Aidan Johnson (B) with an 86 (+14).
The event marks the conclusion of Otterbein's fall season, as the Cardinals now turn their focus toward spring competition.
