Meyer in third after day one at Denison

GRANVILLE, Ohio – After round one of the Lynn Schweizer Invitational, the Otterbein University women's golf team finds themselves in ninth place, shooting a 335 on Saturday.

Sophomore Alayna Meyer led the pack, carding a 75 (+2) and heading into Sunday in third place out of 72 golfers. Classmate Morgan Wamer was next for the Cardinals, shooting an 84. Mia Chanthasense finished two strokes behind Wamer with an 86 on the day.

Aimee Hayes and Alexa Luebbe rounded out the Otterbein field. Hayes shot a 90 and Luebbe was one shot behind with a 91.

The two-day event featuring 13 women's teams wraps up tomorrow morning.
