Dickson leads women's golf in fall debut

GRANVILLE, Ohio – On Sunday, the Otterbein University women's golf team wrapped up their weekend at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational, held by Denison University. The Cardinals shot a 339 in round one followed by a 333 in round two for a two-day total of 672.

The competition picked back up on Sunday, with a few holes from the first round to play before playing the second round of 18. Olivia Dickson led Otterbein on the weekend, tying for 17th with scores of 80-80 – 160. Morgan Wamer was next for the Cardinals, earning a two-day total of 83-84 – 167.

Aimee Hayes carded an 86 in both rounds for a two-day score of 172. Junior Mia Chanthasene was next, shooting a 93-83 – 176. Mia Lewis rounded out the team with a 90-92 – 182. Hailey McKenzie competed as an individual, ending the weekend with a 94-93 – 187.

Next weekend, Otterbein will head to the Shenandoah Invitational held in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia.
