Aimee Hayes named OAC Co-Golfer of the Week

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – After a tremendous weekend, Aimee Hayes has been named the OAC Co-Golfer of the Week, as announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Hayes finished the weekend tied for the individual win with Capital's Emma Konopa, whom she is sharing Co-Golfer of the Week honors with.  Hayes shot a 76 in the first round, highlighted by birdies on the third and eighth holes, and trailed by two strokes heading into the second round. The senior made up that ground on Sunday, carding an 81 with a birdie on hole 13.

As a team, the Cardinals won the OAC Fall Preview by 25 strokes. After carding a 329 in the first round, Otterbein fired a 328 on Sunday to win with a two-day total of 657.

Hayes and the women's golf team will wrap up the fall campaign Oct. 12-13 at the Clovernook Women's Intercollegiate Invitational.
