Six compete at Baldwin Wallace last chance meet

BEREA, Ohio – Six Cardinals represented the Otterbein track and field teams at the Harrison Dillard Twilight Last Chance Meet, hosted by Baldwin Wallace University. Otterbein put together solid showings, as there were no team scores in the meet.

OAC Champion Landry Driskel tossed a mark of 40.23m to finish third across all performers in Thursday's discus throw. Also competing in throwing events was sophomore Anastasia Smith, taking sixth overall with a mark of 12.52m.

Junior Richmond Honkpo claimed fourth overall, second in Division III in the long jump with a leap of 7.17m. Joab Bockstoce finished fourth in the men's high jump, clearing 1.90m for Otterbein on Friday. In the triple jump, Charlie Dolliver was the highest placing Division III athlete, third overall, in the triple jump, recording a mark of 11.30m. Izaac Swope was the lone competitor in the running events for the Cardinals, clocking an 11.51 in the 110m hurdles, the best Division III finish in the meet.

With another week of last chance meets across the country, the Cardinals will await their fates for the official release of the NCAA Division III national qualifiers.
