Salazar was impressive this week at the Faceoff-X, winning 24 of 30 opportunities to help his team retain possession time and time again after scoring plays.

He was instrumental in the team's 8-6 win over Wooster on Wednesday, securing 12 of 17 faceoffs as the Cardinals hung on for a much-needed victory.

Carlos was even better come Saturday afternoon, going a near-perfect 12 of 13 in the middle as Otterbein came from behind to defeat Saint Vincent, 5-4. He tied for a game-high seven ground balls in the winning effort.

Otterbein opens Ohio Athletic Conference play come Saturday, hosting John Carroll University at Memorial Stadium.
