Lowe, a junior sprinter from Gahanna (Lincoln), won three events and finished second in another Sunday at the John Homon Open, hosted by Mount Union.

Lowe ran his way to victories in the 200-meter dash (22.45), the 400-meter dash (49.89), along with anchoring the winning 4x400 relay squad (3:25.24). He also ran a leg of the 4x1 relay team, which finished second in a time of 42.64.

As a result of his performances, he was voted the OAC Track Athlete of the Week.
