WESTERVILLE, Ohio –  Otterbein University men’s basketball, led by a career-best 26 points from senior Zach Bakenhaster, tallied its first Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) victory Saturday evening by turning back Muskingum University, 72-60, in the Rike Center.

The win moves the Cardinals to 4-3 this season and 1-1 in OAC play, and the Muskies fall to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in the league as a result.

The Muskies went on a quick 8-0 run to leap ahead, but the Cards answered by rattling off 12 unanswered points to take a 21-10 lead with 10:36 remaining in the first half. Otterbein later built the lead to 16, taking a 39-23 advantage into intermission.
