Match ResultsPhoto GalleryWESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Otterbein University men's tennis team improved its record in Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) play to 3-1 with a 9-0 defeat of Marietta on Wednesday afternoon.
Otterbein (9-6 overall) has now won six of its last seven matches, including two-straight, and will host John Carroll in its next match on Saturday at 1 p.m.
"The guys understand it's important to play our best tennis in April and May," said head coach
Tyler Stephen. "Looking back to January, there is no comparison as a team in conference."

Will Willson tallied wins in both singles and doubles as the No. 1, defeating Marietta's Alex Schaeffer (6-2, 6-0) and then paired with classmate
David Seckel for a shutout win over Sane Spencer and Andrew Stone (8-0). Seckel also cruised to a win over Spencer in No. 2 singles (6-1, 6-0).
Fellow senior
Zach McDivitt recorded a win in No. 3 singles over Muhammad Kingson (6-1, 6-1) and teamed up with junior
Ben Keen for a victory over Schaeffer and Kingson (8-3). Keen also posted a win for the Cards in No. 5 singles over Stone (6-0, 6-0).

Kevin Adell and freshman
Derek Krieger rounded out doubles play for Otterbein, topping Tanner Sigman and Chase Leisure (8-2). Freshmen
Perry Williams and
Tyler Wharton played No. 4 and No. 6 singles, respectively, each contributing to the Cardinal shutout.
