Men's Tennis Drops Non-Conference Bout With OWU


WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Otterbein men's tennis team dropped a 9-0 affair to Ohio Wesleyan on Wednesday evening in a non-conference matchup outside at the Sanders Tennis Courts.

The Cardinals, now 8-6 on the year, will face Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) rival Capital on Saturday at 1 p.m. Inclement weather is forecasted for the weekend, so stay tuned to the team schedule page for updates.

Otterbein began the match down 3-0 after doubles play went in favor of OWU, the closest margin coming in an 8-6 loss in the second spot by juniors Tyler Wharton and Juan Vera. 

It was sophomore Riley Yost who accounted for the lone battle in singles play, falling in three sets (6-1, 4-6, 10-2) as the Cards' No. 5.
