ALL-REGION TEAMS

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Otterbein University senior tight end Jeb Jones (Coal Grove/Dawson-Bryant) has earned third team All-Region honors via D3football.com, the organization announced Wednesday afternoon.

Jones, a team captain, marks the first All-Region pick for the Cardinals since safety Fred Hardgrove graced the first team back in his standout 2017 campaign.

Jones tallied 46 catches for 602 yards this season, comfortably leading all tight ends in the Ohio Athletic Conference while also ranking top 10 regardless of position. He added four touchdowns in the process.

His season included a pair of notable bookend outings. In the season opener, Jones finished with 11 catches for 114 yards and a pair of scores. He then culminated his senior campaign with seven grabs for a whopping 180 and another visit to the end zone.

Mount Union quarterback Braxton Plunk was named the Region 4 Offensive Player of the Year, while Marietta defensive linemen Drake Neuberger and Kyle Gallagher shared Defensive Player of the Year honors.

The allied health major has also excelled in the classroom, maintaining a 3.75 cumulative GPA since arriving to campus.
