WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein men's tennis group continued pushing ahead in the win column Saturday afternoon, turning away visiting Baldwin Wallace by a score of 9-0 during a dominant day on campus.
The Cardinals skipped out to a 3-0 match lead following doubles action, where
Brandon Wall and
Jamie Price encountered the toughest matchup in the top spot… but won 8-5.
Tom Ohler and
Jake McDivitt (8-2) cruised, as did
Connor Radune and
Jared Deel (8-0) in the third position.
More winning points were in store heading into singles action, where Otterbein dropped just eight total games across the six courts…
Radune saw the most competition in a 6-2, 6-2 victory while all of his teammates also won rather handily. Wall remained unbeaten on the spring schedule. Prior to the match, he and fellow seniors (Radune and Deel) were honored for their efforts in the program since arrival.
Otterbein will be back in action middle of this coming week, heading to Marietta on Thursday for a rescheduled match.
