Men's Soccer Breaks into Top 25 National Poll

NATIONAL POLL

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After a hot start to the 2021 season, Otterbein now finds itself ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches national poll.

The Cardinals, currently 5-0 on the season, broke into the list and are now slotted No. 19 in the newest rankings. This marks the first time since back in 2017 (the first year for head coach Jason Griffiths) that the program is among the Top 25.

Otterbein has taken down Transylvania, Hanover, Case Western Reserve, Oberlin and Trine by a combined aggregate total of 15-3 this fall. Silver Abraham leads the team with five goals while Gabe Sharrock and Will Isaac have both netted three.

The Cardinals will put their unbeaten record on the line Wednesday night with a challenging test at Memorial Stadium, as No. 8 Ohio Wesleyan comes across town for a massive showdown. First kick is slated for 5 p.m.
