T&F: Seven Cardinals Earn Outdoor All-Region Status

FULL USTFCCCA LIST

NEW ORLEANS, La. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) recently announced All-Region honors for the 2022 NCAA Division III Outdoor campaign, following the conclusion of the regular season.

Top-five individuals in each event (from each region) earn the status, along with members of a top-three ranked relay team.

Otterbein had seven different individuals land nine total honors from this past spring, with standouts Gracie Dennison and Mike Rennette each making the cutoff in two events.

See below for the entire list of Cardinals (alphabetically) landing all-region status:

Nick Agerter – pole vault
Gage Beireis – steeplechase
Gracie Dennison – 100 meters and 100 hurdles
Cwinn Febus – 110 hurdles
Emma Klosterman – high jump
Mike Rennette – 110 and 400 hurdles
Cal Yackin – 1500 meters

Otterbein culminated the 2022 outdoor stretch with five national qualifiers at SPIRE Institute in nearby Geneva. Febus ultimately walked away with All-American status after taking third in his event.
