WESTERVILLE, Ohio – It took a lot of setup around campus and navigating a few weather delays, but the Otterbein Track & Field program was able to host the annual Twilight Invitational on campus across a lengthy Friday of action.
Nearly 20 competing schools, many fans, and a nice turnout of alumni graced Memorial Stadium and the surrounding areas to action that began at 1:30 and ended shortly after midnight.
The men's team finished second in the team standings while the women's group walked away in third place. See below for a handful of top finishers on both sides!
WOMEN:
- Emma Klosterman cleared a tad over 5-2 in tying atop the high jump standings.
- Peyton Proffitt won the pole vault, as per usual, by almost a foot. She cleared 13-1 and change once again.
- Peyton Carpenter (105-02) and Olivia Kahoun (98-0) settled 1-2 over the field in the javelin.
- Josey Johnson crossed third in the steeplechase at 12:14.
- Angela Maio earned fifth of 22 runners in the mile, covering the few laps in 5:36.
- Manaka Yamauchi was fifth in the grueling 400-meter hurdles.
- Tashe Lee posted eighth in the 200-meter dash.
- The 4x4 relay culminated the meet in the early hours of the morning.

LOOKING AHEAD:
- The Cardinals have the Ashland Alumni Open on the schedule before heading back to Mount Union, this time for the OAC Outdoor Championships come May 4-5.
