WESTERVILLE, Ohio - The Otterbein University cross country/track and field programs gained five selections to the newly-revised Academic All-District Team on Wednesday morning, as selected by the College Sports Communicators (formerly CoSIDA) to recognize efforts both on and off the competition surface.
To be considered for this honor, a student-athlete must hold a minimum grade-point average of 3.50, play in at least 50 percent of team contests and pass through a round of nomination/voting by the organization. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
