Otterbein Finishes 67th in Learfield Directors' Cup Standings

FULL NACDA RELEASE

CLEVELAND, Ohio – Spearheaded by national appearances/efforts from multiple programs, Otterbein University settled 67th nationally in the final 2022-23 Learfield IMG Director's Cup Standings.

Beginning in 1993, the Directors' Cup was developed as a joint effort between the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA) and USA Today. Throughout the course of the year, points are awarded based on a school's finish in NCAA Championships.

There are more than 400 institutions competing under the NCAA Division III banner, and 323 of those schools registered points in the final Directors' Cup standings. The Cards finished with 263 points.

Otterbein scored points via men's cross country, women's volleyball, women's track and field, wrestling, men's golf, women's golf and women's tennis.

The Cardinals were one of five Ohio Athletic Conference schools to land in the Top 70. John Hopkins earned the overall crown with a whopping 1282 points, edging out reigning champ Tufts and third-place Williams.
