WESTERVILLE - Otterbein senior defensive back
Vincent Fisher made a highlight-reel play in Saturday's game against No. 4 Mount Union, gaining national acclaim as one of the top five plays of the week on ESPN's "College Football Final" TV show.
The Cardinals put together a strong defensive showing against the Purple Raiders on Saturday, as the 21-0 defeat marked the lowest point differential between the teams since 2010 and lowest scoring output for the Purple Raiders in the series since 1991.
Otterbein recorded two interceptions on the day highlighted by Fisher's one-handed grab with 5:17 left in the fourth quarter.
The play came in at No. 3 in the top plays segment of ESPN's "College Football Final."
Fisher finished the game with seven total tackles, which ranked second on the team, to go with his interception.
The Cardinals return to action on Saturday at Ohio Athletic Conference foe Baldwin Wallace at 1:30 p.m.
