FINAL RESULTS
ALLIANCE, Ohio – A sandwich event between two big events took place Saturday up at the Mount Union Tune-Up, as plenty of Cardinals worked to achieve results in preparation for the upcoming conference meet.
Fresh off the All-Ohio on campus last week, Otterbein received victories this time around from
Peyton Proffitt (pole vault),
Izaac Swope (60 hurdles),
Emma Klosterman (high jump),
Geneveive Legawiec (400) and
Jonny Powers (1K). More notables and stats below!
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
- Proffitt grabbed a W in the pole vault with a season-best 3.83 meters (12-6), placing her seventh nationally at the moment.

- Klosterman, off a strong performance at the All-Ohio, was victorious yet again in the high jump. This time she cleared 5-3 and change.

- Legawiec won the 400 meters in 1:04, less than a half second ahead of teammate Olivia Finke in second. Finke also took third later on in the 200m.

- Kat Wilt (11:37) and Rachel Ziel (11:40) finished 3-4 amongst a dozen in the 3K.

- Alyssa Mattis was runner-up in a field of 15 in the mile, going around the trip in 5:27. She was also fourth in the 1K… where Ragen Harting took third.
Â
- Charlie Dolliver was third in the 60 hurdles while Maddie Meyers was close behind in fourth. Dolliver also recorded a second-place effort in the triple jump.

- Angela Maio, coming off a nice victory in the 800 meters last week at Ohio Wesleyan, matched her same time of 2:30 to land fourth this time around.

- Amelia Dailey was fifth (of 12) in the weight throw at 42-9, less than foot away from her recent PR.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS:
- Swope, a rising freshman, won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.50 on the dot. It marks the sixth-fastest time in program history.

- Nick Agerter was runner-up in the pole vault at a smidge over 15 feet, which hovers around the top-50 nationally.

- Gabe Scialdone and Richmond Honkpo both cleared 1.80 meters (5-10 ¾) in the high jump to place in the top three.

- Payne Ratliff (8:47) crossed third of 24 runners in the 3K.
Â
- Mitch Green was sixth of 20 entrants in the mile, gliding the track in 4:23 to best a handful of teammates that included senior standout John Nice (eighth in 4:27 flat).

- Gavin Kelly was fourth of a dozen in his 800-meter section, slipping under the 2:00 mark by a half second.
Â
- Powers emerged to beat a condensed field in the 1K at 2:38 and change.

UP NEXT:
Otterbein now readies for the OAC Indoor Championships next weekend at Muskingum, beginning on Friday in New Concord and bridging into a larger Saturday slate.
