GRANVILLE — The Otterbein men's golf team began the season at the Ted Barclay Invitational, hosted by Denison, finishing fourth out of nine teams. Junior
Ian Morgan recorded a hole-in-one and finished among the top 5. The field included two ranked teams and one that received votes.
The Basics:

- Playing Conditions: Cloudy but high 80's. A bit windy on occasion.Â
- In the 9-team field, Kenyon's team is ranked No. 13, while their B team placed in the field. Wittenberg is ranked No. 14, and Allegheny received five votes.

The Tournament:
- Otterbein finished day one with a total of 289 and day two with 299, resulting in a two-day total of 588.Â
- Wittenberg won the team title in a tie breaker with a two-day total of 584, followed by John Carroll with a total of 584, and DePauw in third with 586.
- Morgan led the Cardinals with a hole-in-one on a par-3, 175-yard hole on the first day, tying for third place with rounds of 69 and 73 for a two-day total of 142.
- Carter Woodward tied for ninth place with a total score of 145, shooting rounds of 72 and 73.
- Jake Morgan tied for 22nd place with a total of 150, recording rounds of 73 and 77
- Colin Bibler tied for 25th with a total score of 151, having shot rounds of 75 and 76.
- Rounding out the top five, Cameron Uhll tied for 50th place with a total score of 184, posting rounds of 92 and 92.
- Competing as individuals, Quin Gallagher scored 74 and 77, tying for 25th place, while Nate Brown shot 77 and 82 for a total of 159.
