Men's golf ties for second at OAC Spring Invitational

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ohio – In the OAC Spring Invitational, the Otterbein University men's golf team tied for second, shooting a 295. Just four strokes back was the 'B' squad, carding a 299 on Thursday. 

Ohio Northern won the event with a 283. The Cardinals tied with Marietta and finished one stroke ahead of Mount Union.

Ian Morgan and Jake Morgan led the Cardinals, each shooting a 71 and tying for fourth in the field. Fellow senior Carter Woodward was next, shooting a 76. Nick Mullen's 77 and Colin Bibler's 78 rounded out the Otterbein 'A' team. 

With a 73, Clay Bruning finished 10th overall. Sophomore Aidan Johnson finished the day with a 74, as Parker Steffani was one stroke behind with a 75. Noah Huard ended the round with a 77, as Cam Uhl shot a 78. Nate McMullen shot a 79 while Hudson Able rounded out the Cardinals with an 84.

On Monday, Otterbein will host the Otterbein Easter Leftovers tournament with tee times beginning at 11 a.m.
