Men's golf heads to OAC Championships Friday-Sunday

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – This weekend, the No. 41 nationally ranked Otterbein University men's golf team will compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference Championships. The three day, 54 hole event will take place at River Greens Golf Course in West Lafayette, Ohio.

Otterbein is led by four seniors who have all earned medalist honors at one time or another this season. Jake Morgan, Ian Morgan, Carter Woodward and Colin Bibler lead a solid lineup, flanked by junior Clay Bruning. The Cardinals have won three straight tournaments and will look to carry momentum from Sunday's Denison Invitational into the conference championship weekend.

After finishing second last year, the Cardinals look to reclaim the top spot in the OAC. As a team, Otterbein has won eight tournaments this season, tying for second at the OAC Spring Preview at the beginning of the month. Playing at River Greens Golf Course, Otterbein shot a 295 at the event.
