Morgan headlines five All-OAC men's golf selections

WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Ian Morgan headlines a strong group of Otterbein University men's golfers who were named All-OAC on Thursday morning. Morgan was named the Co-Golfer of the Year and was joined on the First Team by Jake Morgan and Carter Woodward with Clay Bruning and Colin Bibler earning Second Team status.

Ian Morgan claims his second straight All-OAC honor, leading the Cardinals with a 73.9 stroke average through 23 rounds this year. At the OAC Championships, the senior finished 19th overall. Twin brother Jake Morgan also landed on the First Team for the second time, averaging a 74.3 this season. He tied for sixth at the OAC Championships, firing a 75-72-72 – 219. Woodward also earned First Team honors coming off a runner-up finish last weekend (73-73-69 – 215), placing second. For the season, the senior averaged a 74.0.

Bruning and Bibler were Second Team All-OAC honorees. Bruning, the Individual Medalist at this year's OAC Championships, carded a three-day total of 72-70-71 – 213 to shoot -3. The junior finished the season with a 74.7 stroke average over 23 rounds. Bibler rounds out the All-OAC selections after a season where he averaged a 75.5 through 21 rounds. He shot Otterbein's lowest round of the season, a 67 at the OAC Fall Preview back in October.

The men's golf team tied for first at the OAC Championships, shooting an 871, before falling in a two-hole playoff.
