Men's Golf Sees Five Earn Scholar All-America Accolades

NORMAN, Okla. – On Monday, five members of the Otterbein University men's golf team were named NCAA Division III Cobalt Golf All-America Scholars. Recent graduates Colin Bibler, Ian Morgan, Jake Morgan and Carter Woodward were joined by rising senior Clay Bruning on the prestigious list.

In total, 261 athletes from 95 Division III schools earned the award. Otterbein was one of just 10 schools with at least five recipients. This is the second consecutive honor for Ian Morgan, and the third in the careers of Bibler and Jake Morgan. All five honorees were named to All-OAC teams following the conclusion of the season, with Bruning winning OAC Medalist accolades.

To be eligible, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior both academically and athletically, compete in at least 50 percent of their team's competitive rounds, have a stroke average under 79.0 in NCAA Division III and maintain a cumulative GPA of a 3.20 or better.
