CHARLOTTE, N.C. — The Otterbein men's track and field team opened its 2025 outdoor schedule on Friday and Saturday at the Charlotte 49er Classic, facing NCAA Division I, II and III teams. Freshman
Tucker See led the way for Otterbein with a top-five finish in the 3000m steeplechase, while several other Cardinals posted strong performances in the distance events.

Otterbein's Top Performers - Running Events
- 3000m Steeple - See had a strong finish, securing fifth place with a time of 9:59.80. Freshman Aidan Castillo followed closely behind in 10th with a solid time of 10:31.15.
- 10,000m - Junior Chase Jackson took 12th place, running a time of 31:29.79, and junior Drew Osler placed 24th with a time of 33:10.70.
- 800m - Junior Gavin Kelly competed in the 800m, finishing 34th with a time of 2:00.71.
- 5,000m - Junior David Hartman ran a time of 15:55.92, earning him 36th place, and freshman Joshua Porter ran a time of 16:34.30 to take 49th.
- 1,500m - Kelly finished 44th with a time of 4:12.80.
