WEST LAFAYETTE — The Otterbein women's golf team placed fourth in the eight-team, one-round OAC Spring Preview on Monday. Freshman Alayna Meyer led the Cardinals with a runner-up finish on the individual leaderboard.

The Tournament

• Otterbein finished fourth in the eight-team field with a 64-over-par 352.
• Mount Union won the team title with a 50-over-par 338. Heidelberg was second with a 54-over-par 342, and Ohio Northern was third with a 62-over-par 350.
• Heidelberg's Brooke Barnes earned individual medalist honors by one stroke, finishing with an 8-over-par 80.

Otterbein Individual Results

• Meyer led the Cardinals, finishing second in the 46-woman field with a 9-over-par 81.
• Playing as an individual, sophomore Aimee Hayes tied for fifth with a 12-over-par 84.
• Junior Alexa Luebbe tied for 10th with a 14-over-par 86.
• Playing as an individual, freshman Mia Chanthasene finished 15th with a 16-over-par 88.
• Senior Alivia Baus tied for 18th with a 19-over-par 91.
• Sophomore Cami Changet tied for 22nd with a 22-over-par 94.
• Freshman Morgan Wamer tied for 32nd with a 25-over-par 97.

Notables

• Entering Monday, Alayna Meyer (78.8) and Alivia Baus (83.7) led the Cardinals in 18-hole scoring averages among those with at least 14 rounds played this season.
• Meyer entered Monday with a season-best 18-hole score of 74 to lead the team. She now has two wins and six top-five finishes this season.
• Alexa Luebbe, Aimee Hayes and Baus are reigning All-Ohio Athletic Conference honorees.
• Otterbein has won three of the past 10 OAC championships (2015, 2022, 2023) and has finished as the OAC runner-up six times in that span.
• Head coach Brian Booher is a three-time OAC Coach of the Year in women's golf and has guided four OAC individual champions (2014, 2015, 2017, 2022).
