WILMINGTON — The Otterbein men's outdoor track and field team earned several podium finishes at the OAC Championships, including All-OAC efforts from sophomores
Izaac Swope and
Richmond Honkpo and junior
Collin Grundy, along with strong showings in both distance and field events.
The Basics
- Venue: Beckett Track - Wilmington, Ohio
- Otterbein finished sixth of 10 teams with a total of 61 points. Mount Union won the OAC title with 210 points. Baldwin Wallace was second with 143 points, and John Carroll was third with 135 points.
- The top three finishers in each event earned All-OAC honors.

Otterbein's Top Performers - Running Events
- 110m Hurdles - Swope earned All-OAC honors with a third-place finish with a time of 15.21 seconds.
- 3000m Steeplechase - Freshman Tucker See led the Cardinals with a fourth-place finish in 9:32.92. Sophomore Brady Pugh followed in sixth at 9:42.34, while junior Payne Ratliff took seventh in 9:42.72.
- 10,000m - Junior Chase Jackson clocked a time of 31:36.19 to place fourth.
- 5000m - Jackson finished fourth with a time of 14:53.09.
- 4 x 800 Relay - The group of sophomores Alec Spangler and Mitch Green and juniors Jonny Powers and Gavin Kelly placed fifth with a time of 7:55.85.
Otterbein's Top Performers - Field Events
- Javelin - Grundy earned All-OAC honors with a third-place finish, throwing 52.21m mark.
- Long Jump - Honkpo landed a 6.76m jump to take third and earn All-OAC recognition. Senior Khalil Jones added points for Otterbein with a 6.34m mark, good for seventh.
- Pole Vault - Junior Brady Williams cleared 4.53m to finish fourth. The mark places him 10th all-time in Otterbein program history.
- Triple Jump - Jones landed a 13.82m jump to finish fourth, and Honkpo landed a 13.75m mark to take fifth, making him 10th all-time in program history.

- Honkpo is the all-time record holder in long jump (7.40m) set in the 2024 season, and Jones ranks sixth (7.11m, 2023).
- Graduate student Nick Argerter ranks fifth all-time in pole vault (4.80m, 2024), Hill ranks ninth all-time (4.55m), and Williams now ranks 10th (4.53m, 2025).
- Sophomore Christian Barker is tied for second all-time in the 200m (21.59 seconds, 2025).
- Jones ranks fifth all-time in the triple jump (14.15m, 2025) and Honkpo now sits in 10th (13.75m, 2025).
- Swope ranks ninth all-time in the 110m hurdles (14.91 seconds, 2025).
- Jackson ranks 10th all-time in the 10,000m (31:29.79, 2025).
- Sophomore Jack Craigo ranks 10th all-time in the decathlon with 3,632 points, set in the 2024 season.

- Honkpo is currently tied for sixth in the long jump with a mark of 7.36m.
