GRANVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein University women's golf team wrapped up play at the Lynn Schweizer Invitational on Sunday, finishing eighth in the 13-team field with a two-day total of 674 (+106). The Cardinals posted a 339 in the final round to move up one spot on the leaderboard.
Sophomore Alayna Meyer led the way once again, concluding the weekend in a four-way tie for fifth overall. Meyer carded a 78 (+6) during the closing round, bringing her two-day score to 153 (+11).
Classmate Morgan Wamer followed with an 88 (+16) on Sunday, compiling a 172 (+30) total for the weekend. Alexa Luebbe delivered the team's next-best round with an 84 (+12), finishing at 175 (+33).
Rounding out the Otterbein lineup, Mia Chanthasene tallied a 91 (+19) for a 177 (+35) finish while Aimee Hayes added an 89 (+17) to conclude at 179 (+37).
Freshman Hailey McKenzie made her collegiate debut competing as an individual, posting rounds of 49 and 96 for a two-day total of 145 (+3).
