Robey, Glenn sweep OAC Athlete of the Week awards

WESTERVILLE – The Otterbein University women's lacrosse team swept the OAC Weekly Awards, with Ava Robey and Alyssa Glenn earning OAC Athletes of the Week. Robey was crowned the league's top offensive player, as Glenn was chosen for the defensive honor.

Highlighted by a 2-0 week, Robey made history by becoming Otterbein's all-time leader in points. In Wednesday's 17-6 win over Wittenberg, the senior scored three goals and dished out seven assists. Robey added a pair of ground balls, two caused turnovers and four draw controls to her stat line. On Friday, she broke the record by scoring three goals and adding two assists in a 21-5 victory against Albion.

Glenn was tremendous for the Cardinals, controlling five draws on Wednesday and recording three ground balls. She caused three turnovers as well to go along with a four goal performance against the Tigers. Glenn caused a career-high eight turnovers and tied a career-best with even ground balls in the win over Albion. The junior also contributed four goals, two assists and five draw controls.

Winners of three straight, the Cardinals look to extend their win streak on Wednesday when they head to Centre College.
