LIMA, Ohio – The Otterbein University men's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to Ohio Northern on Saturday afternoon in Ohio Athletic Conference action at Westwood Tennis Center.

Ohio Northern took the early advantage by sweeping all three doubles matches. Juniors Jake Chilcote and Nikita Kitaev fell 6-2 at the top spot, while senior Max Fickas and junior Neil Reddy dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 2. Senior Zach Frederick and sophomore Sanjan Shanker rounded out doubles play with a 6-1 setback at No. 3.

In singles, the Polar Bears continued to control the match, earning straight-set wins across the lineup. Shanker faced Aiden Yeager at No. 1, while Fickas and Chilcote competed at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions, respectively.

Kitaev (No. 4), Reddy (No. 5), and Frederick (No. 6) completed the singles lineup for the Cardinals.

Otterbein returns to action on Saturday, April 25, traveling to face Baldwin Wallace in Berea. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
