Men's golf wins Easter Leftovers tournament

SUNBURY, Ohio – The No. 40 ranked Otterbein University men's golf team won the Otterbein Easter Leftovers tournament on Monday with a team score of 302. The 'A' team shot a 302 to win the event, but the Cardinal 'B' squad put together a solid showing, finishing third overall with a 316. 

Carter Woodward and Clay Bruning tied for second, carding 74s in the event. Senior Ian Morgan tied for fifth with a 76 as the next member of the 'A' squad, followed by a 78 from Jake Morgan. Colin Bibler added a 79 and Nick McMullen rounded out the team for the Cardinals, shooting an 83. 

Sophomore Noah Huard led the 'B' team, tying for fifth with a 76. Parker Steffanni was just two strokes back, carding a 78 to tie for eighth. Senior Cam Uhl shot an 80, followed by Nate McMullen's 82. Aidan Johnson (84) and Hudson Able (86) rounded out the second Cardinal team. 

Next Sunday-Monday, Otterbein will compete at the Wooster Invitational.
