One of the most accomplished players in Otterbein baseball history, Wes Meadows established himself as a dominant all-around performer during his four-year career from 2010-13. A versatile standout who excelled as a catcher, infielder, and pitcher, Meadows helped elevate the Cardinals into conference championship contention while rewriting the program's record book.

From the moment he arrived on campus, Meadows made an immediate impact. He earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in each of his four seasons and became one of the most consistent offensive players in the league. As a freshman, he started 37 games and earned Second Team All-OAC recognition before collecting First Team All-OAC honors in each of his final three seasons.

Meadows saved his finest season for last. In 2013, he was named Ohio Athletic Conference Player of the Year, becoming the first Cardinal to earn the distinction in 35 years and only the second player in program history at the time to receive the award. That season, he led the conference in batting average (.420), home runs (10), walks (31), slugging percentage (.748), and on-base percentage (.527), while also contributing on the mound with a 6-1 record and 56 strikeouts.

A true utility player, Meadows impacted games in every facet. Throughout his career, he started games at catcher, third base, designated hitter, and pitcher while serving as the centerpiece of the Otterbein lineup. His remarkable versatility and leadership helped guide the Cardinals to the 2013 OAC Tournament Championship Series and earned him First Team All-Mideast Region honors, Mideast Region Player of the Year recognition, First Team D3baseball.com All-American honors, and Second Team ABCA All-American status.

By the time his career concluded, Meadows had etched his name atop the Otterbein record books. He graduated as the program's all-time leader in hits (212), total bases (380), runs scored (147), and doubles (52), while also setting a school record with a 26-game hitting streak. His combination of offensive production, defensive versatility, and competitive excellence ranks among the greatest careers ever produced by a Cardinal baseball player.

A four-time All-OAC selection, three-time All-Region performer, OAC Player of the Year, Regional Player of the Year, and All-American, Wes Meadows leaves a lasting legacy as one of the premier student-athletes in Otterbein baseball history.
