Box Score 1 | Box Score 2
WESTERVILLE, Ohio – The Otterbein University men's soccer team dropped a pair of 2-0 matches over the weekend, suffering defeats at Denison University and Kenyon University.

Otterbein falls to 3-3 as a result, and has the middle of the week off to regroup before hosting Ohio Midwestern Saturday at Clements Field. Starting time is set for 1 p.m.

The Cardinals fell behind early against Denison (4-0-1), seeing Quinn Miller convert a header goal off a cross for the Big Red in the 15th minute of action. Otterbein trailed just 1-0 at the half, but Miller doubled the Big Red lead to 2-0 at 57:59 with his second header goal of the match.

Otterbein was outshot 14-7 in the loss, with goalkeeper Kyle Ripma making four saves throughout. Denison's Matt Wagner had three saves of his own in posting the shutout.

Otterbein returned to the pitch Sunday afternoon for a road match at Kenyon, playing a scoreless first half against the Lords. The match remained locked at 0-0 until the 67th minute when Grant Carney put the hosts on the scoreboard.

The Cardinals continued to battle and searched for an equalizing score, but Kenyon (4-2) was able to add an insurance goal with less than four minutes to play that sealed the victory.

Cardinal freshman Sam Frimpong led the Tan and Cardinal with three shots (two on goal) during the day. Ripma made six saves in between the posts while counterpart Sam Clougher had three for the Lords.
