Wallace, Erre named All-Region

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Otterbein men's soccer saw two honored with United Soccer Coaches All-Region VII accolades. Freshman Lincoln Wallace and graduate student Nate Erre were honored, as announced on Tuesday. 

Wallace was a First Team All-Region honoree. was lethal all season long, earning OAC Freshman of the Year honors. He led the team in goals (13) and points (30) and dished out four assists. En route to a First Team All-OAC selection as well, four of Wallace's 13 goals proved to be game-winners. 

Erre made an immediate impact transferring in as a grad student on Otterbein's back line to earn Third Team accolades. In 16 contests, he logged nearly 1600 minutes and scored a pair of goals, both coming in conference play. Additionally, Erre was a First Team All-OAC honoree.

The men's soccer team won their second straight OAC Tournament Championship, posting an 11-3-6 record and advancing to the NCAA Tournament.
