Box Score
BEXLEY, Ohio – The Otterbein University men's lacrosse squad tallied its fifth-straight victory Saturday afternoon, playing to a 17-6 rout at cross-town Capital University to improve its season record to 8-4.

The Cardinals, also moving to a perfect 3-0 in the Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC), will return to action Wednesday evening with a 7 p.m. home game against Wilmington College.
Otterbein scored early and often on the Crusaders, jumping out to a 9-0 lead before the Purple and White eventually got on the board just before halftime.

Capital registered three of the first-four goals in the third quarter (all man-up), before the Cardinals settled back in with a 5-0 run to put the game out of reach.

Senior Mike Sullivan scored a game-high four times while classmate Mikey O'Neal set a new Otterbein single-game record with six assists. He currently ranks top-15 nationally for most assists per game.

Eight other Cardinals also scored in the contest, including two goals apiece from Pat Teynor, Mike Dattolo, Reilly Dixon and George Wright.

Otterbein finished with a 39-13 shot advantage and used three goalies throughout, with starter James Gundling playing the first half before giving way to John Brandon and Nathan Hess.

Following Wednesday's game with Wilmington, Otterbein will host the University of Mount Union on Saturday afternoon for Senior Day. Start time for that contest was recently changed to 2 p.m.
